Her guest appearances as a regular and recurring character are featured in twelve shows on television, such as ER Max Bob Necessary Roroughness Brothersly Love the Push Nevada Two and a Half Men FOX's adaptation of The Tick and Season Two on Amazon's reboot. The most recognizable character is being the an DNA Technician Wendy Simms in the TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The role was hers during five consecutive seasons. Furthermore, Liz has appeared in various film and pilots and has guest-starred on several different television series. Liz's professional life isn't only as an actor, she also writes. Liz was a writer for The CSI's final episode and has since sold 6 TV pilots, a TV movie, and various others. Swallow completed her acting master's in the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Swallow was a character in both good and bad guys in film and television. She played the police detective on Ringer, a detective's wife on Southland and was a bounty-hunter in CBS' pilot The Odds and a bank robber in Medium. She also starred as a mermaid in Flight of the Conchords, and the Shana Sosin-directed independent film The Rift.
