Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994, and is the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools formed a group called White Eskimo with three fellow students. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. While he's always attracted to the arts, he interested in becoming an attorney or an physiotherapist. While working in the city's bakery, Harry Styles was able to feed his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. That's why his group split. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of a future band that would be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the most competitive groups in the competition. But they finished placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell didn't get the win in the contest. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
